Not boasting but we have the best thing in the world. The more we look at it, the more we have to marvel how much light has been given to our brothers, and how much light is given to us in our time. We don’t want to have an alliance with other congregations. That is not the meaning. I want to make myself free.
We don’t want to have the way of making Christians easily or quickly. Sometimes just the signing of a paper, or the signing of a Bible or Testament, or the raising of the hand is a proof that they have accepted Christ as their personal Savior. We are not in agreement with this.
There is much more behind new birth than just a moment of emotion where, under the pressure of a fiery preaching, we stretch out the hand and say we have accepted Christ. It is a sign of the times to have such quick and spectacular results. We do not believe in such a way of making conversions.
We believe in the slower, more difficult way of going through repentance, confession, and so on. We believe in an absolute, sincere, complete conversion.

Is conversion an event or a process? Does it happen in a moment or it takes some time (whole life)?

This part is to Henry Michel.....wow! not boasting by saying you have the best thing in the world, what if someone thinks bubblegum ice cream is the best? So is light given only to you? Seems so because you are so stubborn that you don't want to make alliances with anyone sounds like a cult/sect to me, and if you read or have read the bible at all you would know that the Ethiopian was baptized on the spot not after decades of waiting, so youre wrong there, who are you to say if anyones conversion was sincere or not thats between them and God! By saying we so often you make it seems like everyone agrees with you, well I don't! So slower more difficult huh? Hows that working out for ya? Last time I checked, when compared to 20 years ago Nazarene numbers have fallen
To Moderator, yes Mr/Mrs Moderator your website is great for allowing us to express our opinions that we would not be allowed to in church, thank you for that! I also believe conversion can be an event and/or a process it can be both, I believe that there is even conversion after conversion as we age we see things differently then in our youth,i know I do
