I was reminded when I saw post on "Removal from book of life" of how bad acc teaching is can be. I was actually part of members meeting years ago when this happen in our church. This made me want to ask you: What is your favorite ACC false teaching or saying?
I will go first.
I was one time telling someone that ACC ministers says only ACC people are saved. Many say NOW that this is not true. It is funny, because a lot of people still think like this and it is the origin of the Nazareen faith.
My second is the "age of accountability." There is no such thing in bible or anywhere! Where did this false teaching come from? It shows much teaching is made up with no study of the bible.

A lot of really stupid and unscriptural questions and demands and promises are presented to converts when they give their testimony and go through some wacky approving procedures. and then supposedly the holy spirit will witness to everyone or anyone or some or almost all that this person is ready to be baptist. Some of the elders do such a boneheaded things like to try to exercise their comedic skills or show how delightfully witty they can be. It's like they're trying to make a name for themselves.

My question was always how could anyone proclaim to know exactly what songs will be sung in Heaven?
Im not sure if this is still the rule.

Baptism saves, works save, you can lose salvation, head coverings (what a joke), no jewellery, suits to church, no worldly music, lie ministers wouldn't allow TV's but they had monitors, girls can't wear pants, separate seating.
I know these are old, but they made up the original ACC doctrine. The church should make an official announcement that they on longer hold these teachings.

I once sat in church when they were praying over a soul to be removed from book of life. This was in CS. I remember listening to the minister pray and I stopped in the middle of prayer and told myself that I wasn't going to do this. I have, according to the ACCN been excommunicated, ridiculed, mocked and made fun of by everyone. Enjoy your hate people. You guys ruined my life!!!!

I have never heard a prayer removing someone from the book of life. All excommunication prayers I have heard were asking for the person to return to Christ. I am sorry you had to deal with this.
