We were supposed to be moving into out new house by 31st may, but we are still renting. They have asked us for heaps of extensions foe finishing the house which we agreed with but now we had enough and havent given them any extensions. They havent even complied with their own contract. We have tried contacting them but with no luck. They havent replied back to us at all. No emails no phone calls from them. Now we have filed a complaint to QBCC against them. Hopefully we end up with a house sometime next year the way they have taken their time. We would strongly suggest everyone to please research and find the better company for your dream home. No one should ever have to face such type of consequences.

My partner and I are so impressed with the build process. Shelden our on-site supervisor has been updating us every step of the way. When we wanted variations, the team at Classic were so accommodating and happy to oblige. We have built before and when we wanted a variation, we were advised of delays and exorbitant mark up costs, which we paid for but felt upset at being treated like a transaction. We chose Classic this time as I believe being a smaller builder, I'm helping the "little guys" not the corporation. We feel that if we're concerned or worried about anything, Classic Homes is always happy to take our call and we feel my concerns are being actioned.
We are really looking forward to making our house a home.

Great builder to annoy your neighbours who starts before Brisbane City Council time of 6:30. Be prepared to wake at 5:45 and please report them at any time as BCC is open 24hrs.

Worst of all, a new general manager introduce himself via email letter from their accounts with a corresponding additional bill of $51,000 for retaining wall. That has been done first before the actual build. And this was all part of the contract price which has been discussed in detail before I sign the plan. I am lost at the moment because they haven't respond to my email reply yet. I will never sign for a variation form of 51,000. I will painfully pay a lawyer rather than be reaped off. A contract is a contract. I just wish that no other clients are suffering like me right now.

Almost all members of the Marsden church read the website. These days we normally have between 500 and 600 visitors a day, half of them from Queensland.
There is one frequent visitor from San Diego, CA. Thirteen visits in the last three days. This visitor uses two mobile devices, an iPhone and a Sony Xperia Z3. That visitor is obviously PP Jnr. If you have a message for him, you can post it here and be sure he will read it. I am personally a bit dissapointed with his conduct because I expected him to openly address the issues and tell people what is going on, when they will get their money back, and so forth. Or, if there is no money, he should have said it, like: look folks, there is no money, there won't be any money, all gone, ta, finished, take it as it is. But this is more the Pentsa way - make a mess, leave everything like that and play dumb. We've seen it many times within the Nazarene church.
At the end, I am not very optimistic. You simply won't get anything from the Pentsas. They will keep hiding a year or two, till the things settle down, and after that it will be business as usual.

Hi All , My house is not finished as well. Classic Homes took last 2 payments worth 130K in a hurry in late May. I am deeply saddened by what has happened, as you know, that Classic Homes is no longer operating!
I am working with administrator through my lawyer, to complete construction of spec homes and have them sold in order to repay all suppliers and tradies.
I want to assure all that my family including my father have nothing to do with Classic Homes, their only involvement was in lending large sums of monies to Classic Homes to help pay for past debts incurred by Classic Homes, to help keep it trading and afloat all past year. They also are owed monies, and have not been paid back their loaned money by the Company. They are in the same situation as others! Yet they have been targeted and treathened with death threats and other cruel and illegal actions against them have been made. Which they did not deserve, as they did nothing wrong!
As for myself, I have not taken any money from Classic Homes, and have not taken any wages for the last years, just to help keep the company going.
As there are a few million dollars worth in properties to be completed and sold, so as to pay all outstanding debts, I ask all to be patient, and allow these projects to be completed!
I am truly sorry for all these hardships caused by Classic Homes, and I am doing my utmost to make all repayments to all concerned ASAP.

The winding up order is from January 2017 and was dismissed. It is not related to the current issues. It is still being investigated and the company is still trading but only as far as selling assets and refusing to hand the company over to the administrators. Philip Mate has been seen working in the office so there's definitely stuff still going on but no one really knows the truth of it all.
