I don't know how people are okay with themselves knowing they emotionally destroyed someone. How can anyone who calls himself a follower of Jesus sit quietly in church and ignore the evil false Christians sitting in the same room, getting away with murder?

Dear Person,
Those people that are okay with knowing that they hurt/destroy someone emotionally are actually spiritually "messed up" only they probably don't know it. Either that or they are just plain wicked. There IS something very wrong with them for sure if they are repeatedly doing it on purpose. It isn't the way of Christ Jesus at all.

They desperately need to fall on their knees before God and deeply repent since it is likely that they do not know God. For some reason they never matured spiritually. Some of these are bullies that need a good scriptural rebuking and perhaps even to be expelled as they are making the flock sick. They are immature in their Christian walk and suffer from immense pride and delusions of grandeur due to their (Seemingly) lofty/secure positions in the church.

As for those who just sit there watching, they appear to have a spiritual paralysis where they feel unable to rebuke the situation. Fear tends to do that and the bullies know it, so it is an extremely unhealthy cycle. Perhaps they are suffering a form of spiritual exhaustion from spending a long time in an isolated and unhealthy environment. There must be others that are willing to shed some light.

I’m confused? Are you saying that people expressing their thoughts should perhaps be expelled? I’m not saying one should repay wrong for wrong, but what you are saying is not Biblical either. There are bullies on this website, yes! It is wrong! But there are also valid complaints that should be addressed by leadership. A leader cannot hurt the flock and then punish them because they speak up. A church leader is not God. We were not called here to fear man but God. Ask yourselves why was this website created?

Dear Confused?,

Don't worry I am with you about speaking up.
I was just saying that It is vital and biblical that people DO speak up/communicate IF there are (Some) leaders who are wolves in sheep's clothing in the church. It is also vital that biblical steps are followed to rebuke and even dis-fellowship anti-Christ leaders that hurt the flock and then punish those that speak up. I was saying that those types of leaders lack maturity and even accountability.(Now, that is unbiblical!)

I am thankful for this website. Sadly, It is necessary to keep people informed of the true nature of the shady people that have infiltrated the ACCN.(In a broad sense) Otherwise people are kept in the dark.
There may be bullies on here from time to time but they are easy to spot.

Thank you for clarifying. It would be nice if your elder Paul Pentsa in Australia just stepped down. It is a shame that this website was dedicated to him for all to see.

We have received this e-mail from Florida:

--------------------------

Can y'all please post some positive things? I've read everything and I understand that congregations can have problems. However, I'm just a simple guy from Florida (U.S.). I went to a Nazarene Church and I found the kindest people there. Most importantly, it really seemed to me that the congregation strived to follow God. I don't know if I was wrong in that or not. Beforehand, my background was basically anabaptist, but the Nazarenes held to the Scripture with a seriousness in their service that I have never seen before. I understand the reason for this sight and God bless those who have endeavored to provide a platform to bring things to light. However, remember, that their are those such as myself that have some simple interaction with the Nazarenes and google them to find out more. When I did that, this was all I found (with the exception of very few other sources). So... If y'all could just put a few more positive things for those such as myself. I know this sight is for "in church" purposes, but it is about all that comes up on a web query. So... For instance, obviously there are some problems in Australia, but it would be cool if just some of y'all could also write what the ideal would be so people such as myself could read. Should I have left my short stint at a Nazarene Church? I don't know. I got scared. All I do know is that I have missed that little Church ever since and not because I thought the people were kind (you find that in lots of places), it is because I thought it was a godly place.

Hi to Florida Person,

May I try to encourage you and give you confidence to serve, love and worship the One True God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the creator of mankind.

He is the Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty and Almighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

Try not to look at the bad examples out there. There always was, is, and will always be, until the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.
Watch that ye enter not into temptation.

I strongly encourage to look up to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

The Bible clearly states in what we need to be aware of:
Matthew 24:
10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But, the Bible also clearly states what we all should be doing too:
James 1:25
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

I encourage you to following closely the Bible's teaching in:

1 Timothy 3:9
Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

Luke 8:21
And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

James 2:17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

1 Corinthians 10:
1. Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2. And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:
10. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Im not sure really what you are asking of us Nazarenes. What positives do you want us to tell you? Obviously all of us believe that this way is the truth, otherwise we wouldnt stay in this church even with all the problems.

No reason to miss the little Serbian Florida church....go back! They are still right where they used to be :)

PS You state that you have anabaptist background. I only hope you do realize that another church's baptism will not be accepted there...

Someone doesn't have to leave the Nazarene Church to be able to stand for the right.
We all NEED to stand up to the right, and contend for the faith that is ONCE delivered unto the saints.

EVEN if it's an elder in question, or an apostle.

Galatians 2:11
But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong.

Galatians 2:14
When I saw that they were not following the truth of the gospel message, I said to Peter in front of all the others, "Since you, a Jew by birth, have discarded the Jewish laws and are living like a Gentile, why are you now trying to make these Gentiles follow the Jewish traditions?

There is NO exception, even if it was an apostle then, or and elder today.....,
or and angel would come from heaven, it still will not change the righteousness and justice of the Faith.

Galatians 1:8
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

Can we see how Galatians 1:8 starts with "...even if we...." (This is written by an apostle)

Can any elder repeat these words ("even if I preach contrary to Gods word or will, don't obey or follow me") today???????????

accursed means: to be placed under a curse.
