Janko Tomek and his family are thieves, they stole the church, then sold it. They have no SHAME! They (Tomeks) came from Laverton church which consists of two families and tear the Altona church apart. If you don't serve Janko, you are a sinner and are cut off from his congregation. Sale of Altona Church 'verse' Closing of Marsden Church - Which will happen?
Logan City Council has made visits to Marsden Church regarding the final building inspection was NOT completed by council.
The council has commented in a possible closure of Marsden Church, due to illegal gathering in a building without having a FINAL inspection on the construction.
Also to add, Marsden Church doesn't seem to have INSURANCE either.
Master mind 'so called and/or ordained' and likewise REMOVED elder Paul Pentsa allows the sale of Altona Church, where at the same time desperately trying to avoid the closure of Marsden Church in an attempt to negotiate with Council on reconstructing changes required to obtain a final inspection.
Which is priority for Paul Pentsa at this present moment?
The sale of Altona or the closure of Marsden?
It is believed very clearly and openly that Paul Pentsa rarely meditates on the following Biblical verse and teaching: Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him. (Proverbs 26:27)
Not to even mention this following Biblical verse and teaching Paul Pentsa MOST probably doesn't even believe: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7)
Paul Pentsa seems to nicely hold his hands behind his back and nicely smirking (as he often does), thinking he just cant wait to eliminate Altona 2, by allowing the sin of COVETING, being a GRIEVOUS WOLF and a FALSE TEACHER.
However, he SUDDENLY is clamping his hands in front of him (which he rarely does), holding his head down, as the Council, during their visits commented in closing Marsden due to having the building built illegally in many ways. (AUS)

OUR COMMENT: This is all very interesting! Do you know what is actually wrong with the church building in Marsden? How much would it cost to fix it and get an approval from the council?

For those readers who do not live in Australia - Marsden is a suburb south of Brisbane. It belongs to the local city of Logan. Most families who attend services in Marsden live in surrounding areas. Approximately 1/3 of members are Paul Pentsa's relatives.

As for Altona, here are some updates. We now know the names of the buyers - Peter Gusman and Aaron Cini, from Cairnlea, 3023. The contract between these two men and the "Trustees of the Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene)" was signed on Feb 26. The vendors and the purchasers then lodged their own caveat (AK978765A, March 21) as a security measure that the property will not be sold twice.

How is it that we need a website to find out about all this shocking news about the sale of Altona church? FROM what we heard nearly all Altona members don't even know the information. Thanks. (AUS) 

As long as this caveat is in place, the church in Altona North cannot be sold, regardless on all real-estate agencies and agents that Janko Tomek has hired. The caveat is backed up by the members of Altona 2, who will not allow Janko to throw them on the street and leave them without a place for worship.

As a non-profit organisation under ASIC legislation it is mandatory that any decisions made by any committee require a quorum in order that a vote can be taken by the majority of church members. Has this happened???
Is there a copy of the church constitution available for members of the congregation to view in order that they can determine whether or not there is a mandate for the sale of the property?
This situation is extremely sad and disappointing... (AUS)

So you overseas readers are probably asking yourself what was going on yesterday (Sunday) in Altona? Nothing. Simply nothing. Janko and Vlada did not want to stand up in the church and share the news with the members, and no one dared to ask them anything. That's Altona!

I wouldn't say: "That's Altona!" Great majority of members are wonderful Christians. We should not put everybody in the same "bag". Pray for Sion and Israel! The enemy is inflicting new wounds and sufferings. "Pray and watch!" as Jesus said. (AUS)

Pay attention: "Every branch IN ME ....." So, even those IN CHRIST, in THE CHURCH, who don't bear fruit...." Jesus himself will separate "inseparable" in the last day. Trust God and pray for His Church He paid so, so much. (AUS)

Melbourne - There has been an offer for Altona. At this stage no one knows but the front bench and committee. They were offered $930,000. So far the committee hasn't made a decision yet. It seems that no one else has any idea about the offer. The church people are left out again. They should prepare themselves for any outstanding money they will need to pay when they start to build the new Tomek church, because it will cost more than $930,000 to build. Plus the agents need to be paid their fee from this offered amount.

Update - Altona already sold? The web page on RealEstate.com is not showing the church building anymore. Instead, it says that "the property has been sold, leased, or removed for some other reason". This most likely means that the church has been sold.

Praise God that they outgrew a Church. That's a blessing. (AUS)

Wow, interestingly, no one is surprised. Janko is a conman. They have a few in the Nazarene church in Brisbane and Melbourne covetous (wanting) leads to lying, stealing, hate, gossip, ect, ect. And they are proud of it because they believe they have done no wrong. Trying to sell the Church and hiding it from everyone is sin. When you want to steal someone's property (church, house, car, money) you do it like they do so people don't see it coming. Thanks for the website. (AUS)

If they build a new church, the majority are already sure there will be new rules. Then a few years later they will change it to a Slovak church rather than a Serbian church. The language of the services will be English & Slovak rather than English & Serbian. Serbian was the first language of this church but now that the Tomeks & elderess Martha are Slovak, they will change it, even tho Janko & others were born in Yugoslavia but now Serbia, they can't come to terms with it & just want Slovak & English. We will see what is God's plan & will for it & what Janko's will is, haha... (AUS)

If they don't need the Yugoslav language anymore there should only be English. Slovakian sounds like they have a speech disability, no offence, but Romanian language sounds way better. (AUS)

UPDATE: CONFIRMED BY RELIABLE SOURCES - YES, THE CHURCH IN ALTONA NORTH HAS BEEN SOLD. IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN HOW IT WILL GO WITH THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP, AS THINGS IN THAT AREA ARE FAR FROM BEING STRAIGHTFORWARD.

These questions are still waiting for answers, why? Why is such a problem to come and simply reply to each of these questions? Is there anyting to hide? Is there anyone from Janko Tomek's surrounding with a clear conscience and pure heart, and willing to talk freely about their motives? Or it's all sneaky, shifty, dishonest? We think so. Altona 1 and Altona 2 both will have the right to worship even in the new building the same as now unless they can come together as one side. (AUS)

According to a practice in a different part of the world, a Church building is NOT sold until "after" the LAST member of that congregation passes away. Only then is the building sold. (AUS)

Let's get one thing straight. Altona Church is owned by both groups regardless of what who thinks. There must be a win-win outcome. Selling a building without talking to the other side is corrupted and unethical and the outcome will be not peaceful especially when the majority disagrees. (AUS)

I remember when the church was completed and dedicated as the "House of God" by Steve Nenadovic in 1974 that it was said that the building is the HOUSE OF GOD. This is believed and taught by Nazarenes and other Christians. If the church building was dedicated to God and if it is His House, then no man has the right to sell what belongs to God. Even if all members of Altona 1 and 2 agreed to sell it they have no right to do so since it is not theirs by God's. Imagine if the Israelites decided to sell the temple Solomon built or the second temple that Herod the Great built. How would you react to that? Suppose someone buys a church building from a Christian group which is regarded as God's House and they turn it into a brothel or a night club or a satanic place of worship. Church building was dedicated to God and was and still is regarded as God's House and we are told to mind our step when we enter into God's House. So, then, if the church building is God's House then no man has the right to sell what belongs to God. If, however, it is OK to sell the church building, then please do not regard it as God's House. OUR COMMENT: Don't worry, no one is going to pay that sort of money ($950,000) without first doing a proper investigation. And the first thing they would find is this website. Then they would learn that Janko Tomek is NOT AUTHORIZED to sell any church (he may as well try to sell the Sydney Harbour Bridge, for example), that the MAJORITY of members of Altona 1 do not want to sell the church, that the Altona 2 group COMPLETELY does not want to sell it, that there are TWO ownership titles, that the building is full of asbestos and dismantling it would cost hundreds of thousands, that in case of sale there would be an immediate legal action and the bank account with the money would be frozen and the church building locked and sealed, etc. etc.

Who are the vendors that are selling 122 Second Avenue Altona North? Who is in the committee? How can there be peace when they have a committee and a leader who does not care what their members think? (AUS)

Melbourne - Call this "breaking news" if you like. Janko Tomek and his family, backed up by Paul Pentsa from Brisbane, are making a new attempt to sell the church in Altona North. The arrangement with "First National Westwood" real estate agency and its agent Rob Westwood has obviously failed, so Janko Tomek is now dealing with another agency, "Royaland Real Estate", and its agent Stephen Shen, who is specialized in Chinese buyers.

Stop trying to sell a church which is not yours. Janko and his family never put in a cent for this church and grew up changing their church like 2-4 times only because he wants power. The ones who built and paid for this church are against selling it so stop selling other people's property. You are selling the church or should we all just say you are STEALING the church that other people paid for and built. You shouldn't be an assistant elder because you didn't get the vote 2-3 times and therefore you should be stepping down yourself then. Many members don't recognize him as assistant elder because he keeps getting voted out but for some reason he is still sitting in the front. He and his family are stealing the church by selling it. I'm sure if they voted to keep or sell the church on a Sunday where the elderly can attend instead of a Friday night they wouldn't be selling it. But then again, Janko doesn't do what the majority of the church wants. He does what his daughter Martha wants. It is like she is an elderess, always controlling her dad. The last vote was a secret meeting with all Janko's group to vote to sell the church. How corrupt. Of course, it got out about the meeting. So corrupt they are. They are like snakes. (AUS)

How much did the previous failed attempt real estate fee cost and why are they doing this again when so many disagree? (AUS)

It is one thing if the majority of the church voted to sell the church recently but they didn't, only through a secret meeting of Janko clan. They cannot go from a vote many years ago as members move away, pass away, new baptisms, married and come to this church and members who sadly leave the faith, etc. but they know they wouldn't get the vote so they secretly organized a meeting through an unchristian way. Janko is going against the mother church and by doing this for many years, he is bringing all the other leaders including the elder in Brisbane down with him. Very sad in God's sight. Jesus would called them hypocrites like Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites. (AUS)

If you are going into the house of God every Sunday, and this is hindering your growth and relationship with the Lord, you need to seriously consider moving on, and out. Having personal relationships with people (rather than with God) problems, negative issues.. etc. is only drawing you closer to man, and negative stuff, and drawing you further away from a personal intimate relationship with Jesus. Are you scared and afraid to leave? Does God respect you fearing man, MORE THAN HIM? The important issue here, is not about "you and them" but it is about "God and you", "God and you". Does not ONE person have the GUTS to be the ONLY ONE TO STAND UP FOR THE LORD, and move on and OUT??? It is a lie to believe that God cannot find you a place where you can grow in the Lord with you and your family? If your intentions are pure, God will bless you MUCH MORE in leaving, than staying in a place that makes you dread going. You should not dread going into the house of the Lord. Who are you following? Where is that one person, who only cares about God without ANY FEAR OF MAN??? Are you out there? God is looking for someone who will DO HIS WORK, that no one else will do. Be that person TODAY, and watch the Lord work miracles in your life. If you are sitting still and fearing man more, God is not pleased at all. You cannot grow with God p r o p e r l y, when man is ruling you instead. Do not be fooled. The enemy does not mind you going to church every single Sunday. But, he does not like you having an intimate personal relationship with God. Going to church where there are arguments, lots of fighting and anger is the perfect place for a believer to be in the Devil's eyes, because this weekly lack of peace and disunity that is outside the will of God, will tear you in pieces spiritually and make you very weak. Be brave and leave if that is God's will for you, and ask the Lord to give you some of His courage, if you lack it. You will never regret this decision. I am amazed beyond words, that some of God's sheep have lost their spiritual brains. Being ruled by man instead and fearing man MORE THAN GOD, is not acceptable. (AUS)

I agree with comment 4. The danger of putting up with all of this at church is that it can damage your mind and your soul. If you are young and witness all this mean-spirited behaviour for many years, you may find yourself or your children experiencing mental problems and becoming ill. This is very serious and God is WATCHING.

A healthy Christian church is a body of believers that recharge each other and are genuinely delighted to help one another – they do not seek to inflict painful, old covenant rules and regulations. There needs to be a visible demonstration of spiritual growth and maturity from all believers.

REAL friendship & fellowship within congregations has been designed by God to cause people to grow and mature spiritually and there should be nothing sinister to expose.

There is no time for this nonsense; for in the blink of an eye, like a thief in the night, our King will be here. It would be terrible for Jesus to arrive in the midst of this mess, with "foolish virgins" having no oil for their lamps (spiritually undeveloped souls).

The Bible’s message for Christians to persevere & endure refers our daily walk with Christ as He develops us spiritually. It does not say that we are to endure controlling spirits that have entered the church and try to govern it. On the contrary, Christians are to cast out anything sinister or destructive within the congregation that is unrepentant, as well as reject any message or instruction that is not from Jesus. God forbid that we support un-repentance. (AUS)

The church is the believers not the building. Many of our forefathers gathered in barns and the woods to worship. Was not that the church? You should focus on the spiritual health and see it a blessing to outgrow a building. May we all strive for peace and the eternal kingdom. (AUS)

Bravo comment five!! I wrote comment four. Thanks for agreeing with me. You sound like a mature Christian who is growing the way God intended. I have a message to that person who is still sitting still, and not doing what God is pressing you to do, on your heart. Do you honestly think with 100% sincerity that with you going to that church building every Sunday where you cry all the time, dread going to church, cannot even focus on the sermon because of the thoughts going around your head, and where there is no end to fightings, that God is smiling at you, and saying, "I am well pleased you are so unhappy?"... Is this place the one and only holy ground for you to visit every single Sunday, with this endless non stop battle in the house of the Lord? Is this place at this fixed address, with this exact group of people, and with all those issues happening Sunday after Sunday, the only address you MUST ATTEND weekly, and no other holy ground exists in the whole wide world except this one? Is this the holiest ground on this one slab of concrete and not one other holy ground area exists at all on planet Earth? God is far bigger than this one slab of concrete where there is so much fighting and tension.

People are suffering severe mental problems because of this belief. if I leave my church, and go to another church, I will go to Hell instantly. Ask God and see what He tells you, not man. Do not believe everything you think. Has God personally told you this? If He has not, then there is hope that He may find you a healthier church environment. This has nothing to do with the end time false prophet who whispers, "you will fall away if you leave!" but it is a clear instruction from the Holy Spirit to save your soul before it gets dirty with man's fingerprints all over!! Satan is cheering loud because he is making the saints dirty in the house of the Lord! Huh???? Stop listening to your head and brain and turn on the Holy Spirit and your heart. God has a new church home planned for you, in a safer happier church where your seat is waiting for you. But, you will not get it, whilst in this war. A NBD (nervous breakdown) is about to happen. What will God need to do, to get man's attention fully!? Why are you waiting? Until something really bad happens, people finally wake up. Pack up, move on and leave. God is telling you this and you are not listening. Why? The fear of man's persecution is not a good excuse. The dust is fearing the dust. Suddenly everyone has forgotten about God! Is He honoured, when the dust submits to the dust as the final absolute authority? Wow... the dust is running my life and creating a NBD in my life. I agree totally to this, as it is the word of God and backed up with Scripture. No one can or should be trying to change, add or take away from the word of God, so why is Janko and Vlado???!!!! Amen!!!!! (AUS)

We don't divorce or do other things which it says in the old testament, as the New Testament is written with new laws/commandents from Jesus words so why are people (leadership) picking & choosing what they want the church to hold and obey but what really is a man-made rule, not Biblical rule especially with the clothing.
