Your comment? COMMENT 1: This is "ONE"
answer VERY clearly on the Bibles explanation for Mister janko tomek.
Firstly
I must add that he isn’t worthy to have his name capital, because he is
a false brother.
Refer Galatians 2:4,5: 4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: 5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. Tomek has clearly came in the fellowship for OTHER reasons, not for his souls salvation. His attitude in the last few years clearly show this DIRECTLY from the Bible in these verses. YES, came in PRIVILY .....and to bring people in BONDAGE of sin... "whom back then the apostles gave NO place to subjection". (nor should any today) PRIVILY is the old word for PRIVATELY = in secret, or not officially, or by reason not knowingly. WHOEVER YOU ARE DO NOT OBEY janko tomek. DO NOT LISTEN to janko tomek. DO NOT PARTICIPATE OR ATTEND the fellowship he is in or with his presence, UNTIL he confesses and repents from his sins!!!!!!!!! Next.... Refer 1 Kings 13: 11-24 (It's a bit long to post all the verses, so everyone can have a read for themselves) BUT, the highlight is verse 18: 18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. And then... Refer 2 Thessalonians 3: 3-12 (again its a bit long to post all the verses, so everyone can have a read for themselves) BUT, the highlight is verse 11 and 12: 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Delusion means: "belief in something that is not true". Some explanation: In 1 Kings 13 the prophet stated to the man of God ‘I am a prophet also...', but "LIED". The man of God believed that lie because he stated 'I am a prophet also.' TODAY, if ANYONE including ALL ministers, assistant elders and elders 'LIE', its still a sin. That prophet DID lie, even if he was a prophet. It doesn't justify it because you are a minister, assistant elder, or elder, or even janko tomek. Its "STILL SIN". That man of God was KILLED by a lion for believing a LIE..... (be VERY careful whoever you are if you believe ANY lie) NOW... The 2 Thessalonians 2 indicates VERY clearly that God will send those people STRONG delusion to believe lies (or wont want to believe the truth), only then when those people have pleasure in unrighteousness. We need to have pleasure in righteousness, not unrighteousness. ALL unrighteousness is sin. (1 John 5:17) Things are so clear, yet to many this is so closed from their eyes, because they are spiritually blind. AWAKE UP!!!! (AUS) COMMENT 2: Comment 1 is spot on. Janko Tomek knows he is doomed so he wants to take as many souls as he can with him for he has not come to church for his soul salvation but to bring people in bondage and sin as he lives in sin. All the ones that follow him and don't want to see his faults and sins YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Don't be surprised on Judgement day when you are judged because you chose to serve Janko Tomek and not GOD. (AUS) COMMENT 3: Janko Tomek has been admonished so many times by fellow brethren in the church but he chooses not to listen and gets very upset as he thinks he is always right. It seems he never learns and chooses not to learn as he wants his way, not God's way. He just keeps repeating the same sins over and over and he continues to change his stories and lie not just outside of church but inside the church in front of members as well. Too many members in the church continue to believe his lies and support his sin as they still believe him and want to fellowship with him. If only he humbled himself and repented for all his sins, then all of us could enjoy going to church and listening to the sermons rather than listening to his lies and rather be elsewhere where is more inspiration. No wonder why Janko's church is getting smaller and smaller. If only the rest of people and members can open their eyes and see the sin he is doing. If only people weren't scared of him. It seems like a lot of people are more scared of Janko than God. Where has the fear of God gone? End times are truly near! (AUS) COMMENT 4: Comment 3, I agree with you just don't understand why to be scared of Janko Tomek? Or his neurotic daughter? What can they do to you? Or Paul Pentsa, why to be afraid of him? Is he going to bash you up with his belly? (AUS) COMMENT 5: I wrote comment 3, I'm not scared of Janko Tomek. I'm saying for the ones who stay & put up with him & his sin, they are scared of him otherwise there wouldn't be a big group still attending. They have no fear of God otherwise they would realize Janko is not the right leader towards Christ. Very much the opposite. I don't understand why people are so scared to stick up for God & Jesus. Wake up everyone. (AUS) OUR COMMENT: It's
a good moment to go back to our note from 6 July 2014 talking about
psychopatic "leaders". You just don't get it, do you, dear readers?
Psychopaths simply LOVE
to see other people being scared of them! It feeds their ego, gives
them satisfaction, makes them going. You people don't be foolish and
ridiculous anymore, don't let your own children spit on you and laugh
at you for being scared all your life of some lowlifes like Janko. It's
sick.
COMMENT
6: There is a type of fear that has been quietly pushed from the leaders at Altona for decades. I know this to be true because I witnessed the outcome of this fear myself. It is a fear designed to bind and imprison members. Essentially, it is a lie, and unfortunately, it has proven to be most effective. The overall outcome is a congregation of eunuchs – spiritually castrated members lacking the wisdom and assertiveness to think for themselves. In one sense, when you come to understand the demographics of the congregation, this is somewhat predictable. So ingrained in this lie that members blindly believe it to be the truth. The reality is this – that even today, you will be told (or be made to believe) this blunt and uncompromising statement “…If you leave this congregation, you are leaving God and the faith…” Now this is fear. It’s also control – pre-meditated, self-seeking dictatorship, designed to keep members exactly where they are – in bondage. It becomes fear to those who don’t study God’s Word. But to those that meditate on God’s Word, fear is replaced with the Truth. Leaving a congregation is not leaving God. Neither will God leave you. Apostle Paul makes it clear that for those who are in Christ, there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:31-39). You cannot gain God’s favour. Whether you attend congregation five times a week or once a month (or some other congregation), it makes no difference to how God perceives you as an individual. From the beginning, before anything was created, God pre-ordained those that would become “vessels of righteousness” and those who would become “vessels of wrath.” (Romans 9:22-26) And Ephesians 1:4 “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” Throughout your life, there is nothing that you can do that can make God love you more. And there is nothing you can do to make God love you less. We have been created by God to do good works not to BE saved, but because we ARE saved. Works are a product of salvation, not a means to salvation. If you are uncomfortable with unchanging and constant in-fighting among the congregation, my advice to you is this – leave, and find a church that will nourish you and one that you can nourish. Why would you stay? Why would you throw your pearls to swine? A healthy congregation loves one another. A member in Christ in a healthy congregation is prepared to suffer personal loss for the gain of his or her fellow member. These are Apostle Paul’s words, not mine. Yet for decades, what I witnessed was not a healthy congregation, but something that more closely resembles a muddy pool of vultures, with each vulture prepared to attack another for the sake of gaining that one piece of rotting flesh. Why would you stay? Leave, and follow the Master, our Lord Jesus. Consider John 4:21. A woman approaches Jesus with these words. “Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” Sounds familiar? The leaders at Altona proclaim the same words – worship on OUR mountain, not on that one. What is the Creator’s response? “Believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem (i.e. neither Altona nor Keilor Downs, and so on…)…A time is coming, and has now come, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks…” What kind of worshiper are you? One that the Father seeks? Why would you stay? If you are a part of the congregation at Altona, then you also condone the practices of Altona and will invariably be judged as part of that congregation. In Revelation, Jesus makes it clear that He will not only judge individuals, but entire churches. Be careful what you support, for you may also be held guilty as an accessory to a serious sin – the sin of bondage and control. (AUS) COMMENT 7: Comment 6 - then give us an example of such a healthy congregation, I'm sure many would like to know whether they even exist in this day and age but perhaps it's just wishful thinking and a sign of it being the "last days". (AUS) COMMENT 8: Comment 7 - I can give you numerous examples of very healthy congregations across Australia. That is not the problem. The problem is this: Will you go? The answer is usually no, which goes back to the age old problem of most "cultic" churches and religions (like Mormons and Jehovas Witness), the problem of power over the people. Many have been manipulated to believe that "these are the last days..." and "the grass is NOT greener on the other side." This is a farce, and a method of fear used to keep you IN the group. It is NOT a biblical teaching. I can assure you this, if you do leave and find another congregation (NON ACC), you will never regret it. IF you are genuinely interested, email the moderator and we can be in contact. (In secret ;) (AUS) OUR COMMENT: If
our readers wish to contact each other this way, fine. Our e-mail is:
accnaustralia@gmail.com. Btw. Comment 7 is really ignorant and
enraging. It's like saying that McDonalds is the only good place to eat
or that people should always go to Woolworths and never to Coles if
they want fresh veggies. What is TRUE is that there are various Pentsas
and Tomeks in other churches too, and there is no church in this world
that does not have some sort of internal problems. But what is also
TRUE is that churches are not all the same. Some of them are clearly
abusive, autocratic, declining churches like ACCN in Australia, and
some others are younger, thriving, less corrupt, closer to the
Scriptures. Going to a church is like going to a restaurant. Some
restaurants serve good quality, reasonably priced food, whereas some
places other will give you salmonella and charge you an arm and a leg.
You go to a church to receive spiritual food. If you don't care what
you eat, you may as well not care what you do to your soul.
Your comment? COMMENT 1: Wow,
I am totally amazed. With all the issues that are going on about the
new building, now the latest topic is the beard. This Brother that has
decided to grow a beard has nothing to do with the congregation, it is
a personal choice. If his wife doesn't mind then what business is it to
anyone else. This congregation is not about Christianity but what you
are allowed to wear have a beard what and how you behave at church. But
what you do during the week is totally not important. As long as you
follow their rules on Sundays.
I am amazed that there are any members left, considering that all they thrive on is picking on each other. I truly believe that GOD will take over and HE will decide what the future brings. My sympathy goes out to all the genuine members who just want to come and hear the word of God. Well let's see what or who will be on the agenda (to pick on) next. (AUS) 18 August 2014 - "Too much beard", sent by a reader Greetings
Website. There seems to be a little bit of a problem with the older
sisters in church at Altona, they seem to be jealous of Mr. Beardo.
Whenever he preaches they put their heads down. In fact, one sister
walks out of church when he leads. How immature in faith! Who cares if
he has more facial hair than them? God bless. (AUS)
Your comment? COMMENT 1: Now
it's all coming together. The older, newly baptized sister is putting
her head down and walking out on Mr. Beardo when he leads songs, to
show Janko and Vlado and the rest of the church committee she is
totally against Philip having any position in Altona anymore. You see,
most people in Victoria heard that she put up all the money for the
portable and expenses, on loan. And if she's not happy about something
or someone in Altona, the church better fix it soon or she may not help
with money anymore. Funny this sister, thinking you can get baptized
then bribe the church with money so she can have it her way. Typical
Slovak. (AUS)
COMMENT 2: That sister should stop looking at other husbands, if Margaret doesn't mind Phillip having a beard what's it got to do with that widow...... not a sin for a male to have a beard. (AUS) COMMENT 3: That widow is the newly baptized Katka who needs to drink a lot more milk before she tastes wine, she is still a baby in faith, and babies drink milk only. She only shakes hands with selective members, so if she doesn't shake or greet you, you are not saved according to Tomek's religion. This sister Katka likes to bring a lot of food to church like other Janko followers. Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (AUS) COMMENT 4: To comment 1 (18/8/14) I take offence at your stereotyping of all Slovaks because of the actions of some Slovaks you know of, the same could be done of other ethnic origins - they all have their good and bad points. (AUS) COMMENT 5: I wrote Comment 1. It was meant to read, typical Slovak within Janko Tomek and Vlado Papuga's group. (AUS)
Melbourne - Even with the full amount from selling Altona, Janko Tomek and his family and supporters won't have enough money to build a new church. They are falling short for at least one million Australian dollars. As no money can come from the Sydney church, Janko Tomek and Paul Pentsa are now forced to ask the ACCN / ACCA congregations overseas (CAN, USA, GER) to give donations. According to what we were told, Paul Pentsa will start sending the letters to other churches very soon. If your church receives one of these letters please let us know. Your comment? COMMENT 1: What
Church or what Christian would give money or support to the thief's
that stolen and sold another Christians their share of the church
building or their parents that paid for it now are left on the Street?
Would you as a human being support this evil and corruption that has happened to the children of God? If you will, then this support that what you are donating is to the Evil doers. And ye shell be found Guilty before GOD'S Judgement also for your support. I believe that the true church and a true Christian will give donations to the Faithful children of God that are robbed and have their house of God's worship STOLEN. God Bless your Souls and LOOK deeply into your Hearts and make your own Judgment to whom ye give your support and donations. (AUS) 29 July 2014 - "Back from vacation?", sent by a reader Not too many posts lately. Maybe the moderator is back from vacation?? (CAN) OUR COMMENT: Depression,
mate, depression. (Not vacation.) Everyone seems to be a bit low these
days. We
register a steady flow of visitors although there are not many
messages,
or in other words, people keep coming to the website but post
no comments. There is a
lot of that beardo-weirdo buzz going around but not so much about the
church
demolition. It seems that people are somehow more interested to discuss
someone's beard than the fact they will soon lose the church building.
Oh, well, what can we do? Be sure, however, that we are going to have a
hot summer here in Australia, when the temperature starts raising
towards
the end of the year. Yes, there will be a lot of "heat".
Your comment?COMMENT 1: I'm not baptised
nor a friend yet and I feel so much sadness about what is happening.
Can you just imagine the rest of the members that have been attending Altona Church for many many years and have put in everything they possibly could to get the Altona Church built for everyone to use and now to see the Church gets demolished because of the foolish team Tomek? You are completely right. Everyone is feeling very low. I feel very sorry for Janko Tomek and his followers. They clearly do not know what they are doing. I personally cannot help you but I will be praying for you. (AUS) COMMENT 2: These for sure are the days of Ezekiel 34 where the shepherds feed themselves, where the shepherds refuse to strengthen, refuse to heal, refuse to bind up that which was broken, refuse to bring back that which was driven away, refuse to seek after that which was lost; but with force and with harshness have the shepherds ruled over them. The false teachers of these spiritual abusers are putting themselves and their "church" first, which has led to these dastardly deeds that are occurring everywhere. But be not deceived. God is not to be mocked. We’re living in dark dangerous times. (AUS)
Your comment? COMMENT 1: Jesus had a beard. (AUS) COMMENT 2: Philip Ruzeu is not growing a Taliban-style beard; He thinks that he is a Jew. (AUS) 6 July 2014 - "Last time singing in Altona", sent by a reader Janko
stood up in church this morning and said there will be an Australia big
sing on 7th September in Altona church and that everyone is welcome.
Anyone who used to go there can come and see the building one last time
since that will be the last Sunday in that building. He only mentioned
it in English that that will be the last Sunday in the building, I
don't know why he was trying to keep it a secret from the older
Europeans. It seems he is up to his old tricks. Anyways, all is welcome
to come for big sing and final farewell. No doubt there will be many
tears that day from all the people who worked so hard to pay off that
church and then Janko Tomek and his clan came and destroyed the love
and unity there and then eventually sold it from underneath them. What
a despicable human let alone brother in Christ, with the master plan of
Paul Pentsa Snr. (AUS)
Your comment? COMMENT 1: As
a member of Altona church I will not attend this Janko's big sing. A
THIEF organizing a big sing and full of SIN. This Tomek family doesn't
fear God. They came, They stole, They sold and now They are celebrating
the sale on the 7th September. You are a criminal Janko Tomek. (AUS)
OUR COMMENT: One
day Nazarenes in Australia will realize they have been led by
psychopaths. Psychopaths are a specific sort of evil and mentally
troubled people who are not necessarily criminals and murderers, as we
imagine when we hear the word "psychopath", but very often everyday
people like managers, officers, teachers, church leaders.
The main characteristics of psychopaths are: - Pathological need to rule other people, using manipulation, schemes, threats, lies, flattering, i.e. whatever proves effective. - Complete disregard for other people's opinions, desires, suffering. - Lack of compassion, emotional numbness. - Pride, egoism, megalomania. - Personal charm, charisma, verbal skills, persuasiveness. Here is some good read (Forbes Magazine): The Disturbing Link Between Psychopathy And Leadership Several abilities - skills, actually - make it difficult to see psychopaths for who they are. First, they are motivated to, and have a talent for, ‘reading people’ and for sizing them up quickly. They identify a person’s likes and dislikes, motives, needs, weak spots, and vulnerabilities… Second, many psychopaths come across as having excellent oral communication skills. In many cases, these skills are more apparent than real because of their readiness to jump right into a conversation without the social inhibitions that hamper most people… Third, they are masters of impression management; their insight into the psyche of others combined with a superficial - but convincing - verbal fluency allows them to change their situation skillfully as it suits the situation and their game plan. 4 July 2014 - "Power and control", sent by a reader It
breaks my heart! How many Nazarene churches are around with only one
preacher and a handful of aged members, abandoned and forgotten by
everyone, even by their own children and relatives, just stubbornly
refusing to make any changes, to try something new? They say - we don't
want to change, this is the right way, the Nazarene way, this is how we
save our souls. The elders normally pick a man loyal to them but not
the one who is capable of preaching and managing the church. That
brother takes all the power in the church and does not allow anyone
else to say anything or do anything without his permission. Because
he's "worthy" and everyone else is not, and because he's always right
and everyone else is not. Twenty or so years like that. And then, they
are all surprised when they see the church is almost empty. Really, who
would want to come? All these "small churches" (used to be much bigger
in their heyday) tell the same story, the story not about serving the
Lord but about power, control, and man's vanity. (CAN)
Your comment? COMMENT 1: Yes,
you are right! Many would have stayed if it wasn't about power, control
and man's vanity. This indeed is sad but what is even sadder is that
they will not accept this to be the problem and those that do see it
are too afraid to do anything about it. (AUS)
28 June 2014 - For those who are now in Sydney... Paul
Pentsa, Janko Tomek, Matea Lincu (but again probably without his wife)
and a few of their supporters are now gathering and celebrating in
Sydney, in the Arncliffe church. We know they are checking
this website on their mobiles. Do you have a message for them?
Send you message COMMENT 1: Hello ALL, and
Sydney Celebrators!
We know that the word of God is TRUE! Well, probably most of us can confess it with our mouth, but in our deeds and daily life, definitely NOT. WHY? Because it’s approved by the elders, not God! Can you give me an honest answer to these questions: (anyone?) 1). If a member commits a sin, and gets away with it, will God ignore it? 2). If the master-minder, elder ordained, and elder removed Senior Paul Pentsa takes a brother to court, and wins the case, does this mean that his offence to the Bibles teaching will be ignored, eliminated and forgiven by God if he doesn’t repent and confess that sin? Let’s look very clearly into this verse, which I believe most of us haven’t read for a long time, and may have forgotten a little, but may be a very clear verse we all need, including Senior Paul Pentsa. Ok, here we go, are we ready? It is a tough one, and we really need to just wait and be patient for it. It is very true, and very sharp, but at the same time very sad to those that its referring to. Ok, here it is: 1 Corinthians 15:19 • If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. It might look a little strange to some, as to why this verse was chosen. Just look into the meaning and compare it closely with the Sydney church issue and the celebrations on the court case win. (AUS) COMMENT 2: Those who are now together in Sydney will also be together in Hell. (AUS) COMMENT 3: Jesus Christ lived in the midst of his enemies. At the end all his disciples deserted him. On the Cross he was utterly alone, surrounded by evildoers and mockers. For this cause he had come, to bring peace to the enemies of God. So the Christian, too, belongs not in the seclusion of a cloistered life but in the thick of foes. There is his commission, his work. The kingdom is to be in the midst of your enemies. And he who will not suffer this does not want to be of the Kingdom of Christ; he wants to be among friends, to sit among roses and lilies, not with the bad people but the devout people. O you blasphemers and betrayers of Christ! If Christ had done what you are doing who would ever have been spared. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE ENEMIES YOU CAN SEE THAN TO HAVE A FRIEND WHO BETRAYS YOU TO THE ENEMY (FRIENDS WHO SIT ON AFENCE ARE ENEMIES) (AUS) COMMENT 4: Janko's supporters are going around talking how their solicitors in Sydney called them up and asked them to come to Sydney to sign the church over to their names. The Sydney church will not belong to Sydney anymore. That's what the word is. They can't even keep their mouths shut. LOL. (AUS) COMMENT 5: What amazes me beyond words, is that MAN IS STILL FOLLOWING MAN and are blind to what is most important. This is my wish.. that God and you only existed for a time. NO VOICES, NO HUMAN HEADS, NO HUMAN INPUT, NO FIGHTS. You see, when you fight, it distorts reality and Christians do not always see things clearly. Only God and I - would be a massive eye opener. What would God say to you personally? If Jesus came to your church, but you did not know it was Him, how would He be accepted? I am pretty sure, He would be sent on HIS WAY, as people in their error even in the church, would have missed the REAL JESUS, because of following a man-made Jesus. What Jesus are you following? The Jesus of man, or the Jesus from GOD?? Get out of this mess for a time, and then you will be able to think clearly for the first time in your life. Currently, it is like a number of people have a bag over their heads.. De-mask!! There is no spiritual growth "in the bag". There is only more growth in man and zero in God. Your choice! Fat in man, zero in God. Sad. (AUS) COMMENT 6: You cannot take your money with when you go to heaven, nor the Sydney Church building! And why would I want it, are not much nicer mansions awaiting for me in heaven? Do you really believe this? As in "really"? If so, why put so much effort to get the Sydney Church building? The building cannot save you. Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth can. Others here may find their Treasure, Seeking worldly goods to share; In the heaven is my treasure, I would be with Jesus there! Earthly riches pass away, Christ, His Kingdom, stand for ever! (AUS) 21 June 2014 - "Does Pentsa not fear God?", sent by a reader According
to the Holy Scriptures it is a sin for a brother to take a brother to
court and that before non-believers. So even though Pentsa/Lincu won
the court case, whoever took a brother to court needs to be disciplined
through the Church. But if he is not punished, and such a brother does
not correct his error, how will he stand before the Almighty on
Judgement day? Does he not fear God? And does he not understand that he
will have to give an account? God does not allow himself to be mocked,
what a person sows that will he reap. Pentsa may have won the court
case, but he still needs to be disciplined for the sin, for "taking a
brother to court". Surely is not the Church asleep? (AUS)
COMMENT 1: A
comment to the letter that begins: "To The Editor of This Website, Dear
Sir!/Madame": You quoted Pro 17:15 He that justifieth the
wicked,
and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the
LORD. Are you doing that? and with that same verse that you quoted, are
you not condemning yourself? It certainly seems that way. Also you
quoted, Rom 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man,
whosoever
thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou
condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things., but
Sir, that verse is for thee. Are you not the one to whom this verse
should be directed to? (and not the other way around!) According to the
Holy Scriptures, "HE" WHO TOOK A BROTHER TO COURT IS THE ONE WHO HAS
SINNED. Sure! It does say, Speak not evil one of another, BUT to remind
a brother the need to correct an error IS NOT EVIL SPEAKING. It is
instead, brotherly love, trying to save you from the consequence of
sin. (AUS)
COMMENT 2: With these people it depends who you are, if you are one of them you can steal, lie, party, smoke, covet other people's belongings (as long as it's on paper) go to footy and to the movies and to worldly functions and sell a church that's half empty. As long as it’s on paper and as long as you wear a covering. This weekend the little group from Melbourne are assembling at the Sydney church for a reunion, happy times are back. (AUS) COMMENT 3: Yes that last comment is correct as far as we know too. Just because Altona 1 members can hide behind the evil doers as themselves doesn't mean God doesn't see it or that their lying and hiding won't be revealed. Here is another example of, as long as we pretend to go along with Janko Tomek and his group, I and my family can get away with anything! May the good Lord forgive them once they repent and ask for forgiveness? (AUS)
COMMENT 1: God
isn't changing the Nazarean faith in Altona, it's the devil putting it
in man. God is the same yesterday, today & forever &
every
sinful change that happens is from Man not from God. God doesn't do
sin. God hates sin. Firstly you say God is creating change in the
faith, then you say you are thankful to God he helped you escaped. It
seems you are a bit confused, first you blame God for changing the
Nazarean faith in Altona then you thank him for helping you leave. You
are confused in your faith. (AUS)
COMMENT 2: To comment no 1: I have no blame towards God. Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear. It is GOD that allows things to happen in churches for a reason. The bible says that Satan asks God for permission to go and torment a person and if it’s Gods will, He will allow it. (Classic example: Book of Job) God is Lord and master and nothing escapes His attention. He cannot be surprised. To say that God cannot do something is not correct. Actually, He can do whatever He wants, He is master. The devil must bow to Him. God deals with churches as He pleases and He does this wherever & whenever he pleases. He is GOD. He can make changes if and when He wants to. He is supreme commander of all. He can give a person their faith and He can take it away. HE is God and the devil is no match for God. And… you have to remember that God created the devil for a purpose. He even tells us in the bible that He created the evil one to wreak havoc. (Isaiah 54:16) That is very clear… Listen to those words they are from GOD. I am much closer to Christ now than when I was at Altona Church and I have His peace. That is His will not mine and I am thankful to God for this. And now having clarified this, my post was not so much about myself. It was about the controlling nature of leaders in the church and the disobeying of God’s covenant that states that at the head of every man is Christ. This has been seriously breached at Altona. This is why there is division and lack of peace at Altona. I write out of concern because people I am close to that went there are now mentally ill. There needs to be repentance from the leaders and they need to restore people to good health. Those leaders can do it with God’s help but they must humble themselves and genuinely repent before it is too late. (AUS) OUR COMMENT: Thank
you for this reply. You mentioned mentally ill members of the Altona
congregation. This is an interesting subject and we would like to
expand on it. Without mentioning anyone's name and even
indirectly
pointing to any individual in Altona, can you please tell us more about
the nature of these mental illnesses, things like causes,
symptoms, seriousness. Share with us your observations. This
may help people differentiate between "spirituality" and
mental
issues that actually don't have anything to do with spirituality.

3: To the guy (I know who you are) who replied to comment 1. You never had any faith in God nor hold His commandments. God did not create Satan. Lie number 1. As you say. Lucifer was an archangel in heaven. Lucifer got corrupt so God struck him from heaven and sent him on earth. God does not allow Satan to torment or provoke people. Lie number 2. As you say. Satan tempted Jesus numerous times and the son of God replied to him. "Away with you Satan". You can't serve God and Satan. If you go to Keilor church you don't serve God. Is that clear enough for you? (AUS) OUR COMMENT: In
18 months of this website's existence we have never received any
complaint from Keilor. Nothing about spiritual and mental abuse of
their members. Does it mean that only those "real" churches abuse their
members? And that those "nice" churches are actually fake and false?
Or, to put it this way - if a church earns a website of 12 pages full
of complaints on spiritual and mental abuse, does that prove the
authenticity of that church?
COMMENT 4: I understand completely that the leadership need to repent & stop trying to rule people's lives. They caused a lot of family problems, marriage problems & spiritual problems of members in the church. They are the ones changing the faith, not God. They must stop & repent for their sins & realize all the damage they have done to the members in the church. (AUS) COMMENT 5: A healthy church with a well knitted congregation works co-operatively to heal one another, especially those that are vulnerable. God is the great healer and no mental illness is too much for Him to heal. Of the people that I know that haven’t been well after attending Altona for many years. I saw that they were especially hurt by the superficial nature of many people. And because of the lack of love and support it caused them a lot of prolonged stress & they gradually became ill. As a result, they were robbed of the opportunity to grow spiritually. And they are still like that today because Altona is still after many decades full of infighting. It is a documented medical fact that a person exposed to prolonged psychological and mental abuse anywhere will exhibit symptoms of physical distress and even disease. For example, a person experiencing a high level of stress regularly, for whatever reason, is three times more likely to suffer a heart attack compared to non-stressed individuals. There may be difficulty in differentiating disease states caused by spiritual and non-spiritual abuse, but this is not the central issue. Of primary concern is the fact that where there is spiritual abuse, there will be susceptible individuals that will be affected by this mentally and physically. Disease states can include illnesses such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and even psychosis. Visible symptoms of mental abuse in church members that are spiritually abused include a skewed relationship with God due to leaders that are unskilled to heal the afflicted. Self-harm is also a common symptom of spiritual abuse, as has been seen in the media in individuals abused by other church denominational leaders. There is also evidence of suicide within the Nazarene faith. This is a great tragedy for the whole church. In a healthy group of Christians, with caring leaders, symptoms of psychosis, self-harm and suicide would be, on the whole, non-existent. During my time at Altona, I witnessed far too many mentally ill Christians which I believe would otherwise have been quite healthy and vibrant in a non-abusive environment. I, myself, only experienced a healthy and vibrant relationship with God after leaving Altona. The sad fact in all this is that the leaders are unaware of the damage they cause, and the members are too afraid to speak out (for fear of discipline), or too naïve to recognize this abuse. There will always be church members that will deny that this is happening, or will down-play the issue. This is expected, but should not be lightly brushed aside and ignored, especially when these matters pertain to the health of the children of God. Note that in an everyday abusive home, if there is a lot of parental fighting the children can become vulnerable to mental problems. Church is no different. (AUS) COMMENT 6: For comment number 2. You said, "It is GOD that allows things to happen in churches for a reason." God does only good. And Satan does only evil. God does not permit nor allow sin nor wickedness in families nor in Churches. The Holy Scriptures teachers us not to forsake our Churches. All Scripture must be fulfilled, including the verse that states that there will be false brethren and false apostles, and where? Among your own selves. We live in the last times and need patients. In patients possess ye your souls. Lucifer chose to be wicked, God did not make him bad. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Keep your eyes open and your heart clean. (AUS) COMMENT 7: To Comment 3: Your comment is appalling. Who are you to judge whether or not the person you are referring to has faith in God? Just because someone leaves the ACC and attends a different church it does not mean he or she no longer serves the Lord. Where does this idea that only ACC members will be saved come from? It is absurd! What really concerns me though is that you say God did not create Satan. Of course He did! If not, where do you think he came from? Angels, including Lucifer, are created beings. The Bible is clear about that. Also, God absolutely does allow Satan to torment and tempt people. Do you actually read the Bible??? (USA) COMMENT 8: I believe that some people would be either mentally ill or abusive in the home because of their ethnic upbringing or their personalities and may have nothing to do with the church. I have met many European men and women, in the church and out of the church, and it seems that tempers, abuse, domestic violence, suicide etc can touch everyone in certain cultures and may have nothing to do with the church. It may have something to do with their upbringing or culture. It just so happens, unfortunately at times, that these European people ARE in the church, so their behaviours are carried over to the church. Some of the actions and behaviour and words that I have seen and heard in the church are shocking and you would never think that this person is a Christian in their private life. That has nothing to do with the church, it has to do with their personality or upbringing in the culture which they carry over into the church. This is sad. I have also known of believers in churches in USA and Canada that have committed suicide that had nothing to do with abuse in the church, and I have seen members who have left the Nazarene faith for certain reasons who also have committed suicide that had nothing to do with the church. I have also seen mentally ill people in the Nazarene faith and also those that have left the faith that have become mentally ill, and those that never were in the faith that become mentally ill, so not all mental problems are due to the churches. I do believe and agree that if you are treated unfairly in the church, it can cause one to become discouraged and hurt, and even leave the faith, and there are some man made rules that are pressed upon people which should not be, and cause a lot of anguish in the church which is not right, but I would not blame the church for everything. I know that you are talking here specifically about Altona, but if you look at the big picture around the world, we can see many people with problems (even in the Nazarene faith) who attend a non abusive church as you call it, and also people who have even left the Nazarene faith for other reasons, which had nothing to do why they became ill or mentally ill, and their lives have ended in a mess. There are other reasons to become physically or mentally ill, and not all are because of the church. I think it must have been a psychologist who wrote that article, but until you have actually "lived" with people who have problems and know the reason why, you cannot say all problems come from the church. I have spoken to several psychologists and psychiatrists, and they cannot give any answers to some people's problems that I have known, and again I stress, that unless you have actually lived with these people, no amount of degrees or schooling or knowledge or whatever you have, will give you the right insight to what is bothering them. Every church has so called "rules" to keep the church in order. It is when those "rules" are man made and come from cultures instead of from scripture that make problems. Anything pressed upon people from man will cause problems, but to obey the scripture is from God and will only be for our good. Confusing the man made rules with those of God will definitely make problems for people. If you look at our churches around the world, I think the main problem is the power hungry person, but in any church, whether Nazarene or not, when men look for power to rule people instead of looking to God, then that is the start of the problem. Peace is within your heart, and if someone has peace attending a church that someone else feels is abusive, then so let it be that a person has that peace. Don't condemn a person who goes to a so called "abusive" church for having peace in their heart. If one must leave the faith or the church to have peace, then I guess let it be so. But as you know, church or no church, people have problems, people are sick, people are mentally ill and peace is in the heart, not the church. (AUS) COMMENT 9: To Comment 7: Your comment is appalling. This person didn't leave the ACC. He left the ACCN and went to another Religion. I didn't say that just ACC members will be saved. You are saying that! Lie. Also you are CONCERNED about God not creating Satan. Well, 'sent by a reader' and comments 2 and 5 is a psychologist so why don't you consult with him. Maybe he can HELP you with your illness. Hope you get better soon. (AUS) COMMENT 10: To Comment 9: Is that how you always respond when corrected... with insults? I think the spiritual and mental abuse in the ACCN extends beyond just the leadership as you demonstrated with your comments. I will pray for you. (USA) COMMENT 11: To comment 10. Since you support a church that freely do adultery, you say your praying for the person from comment 9 for their comment. Comment 10 you are from the USA so what would you know about Keilor church. God does not even hear your prayer so who are you praying for? Seems to me you are supporting Satan and not God. Adultery is from Satan, not God. (AUS)
